Evelyn Wright Kinder, age 75, of Hickory, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2015. She was born to the late John Wesley Jr. and Dena Neal Wright on September 11, 1939 in Tazewell, VA. She was a member of First Advent Christian Church in Hickory, NC. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents Evelyn was preceded in death by her loving husband Clyde B. Kinder, daughter Connie Sue Kinder Beavers, brother Clyde E. Wright, Sisters; Betty Louise Wright, Pamela Marie Wright, & JoAnn Wright Dean, and granddaughter Ariel Grace Kinder.
She leaves to cherish her memory a son Robert Ray Kinder and wife Debbie, granddaughter Deborah Caitlin Bullers and husband Zack, grandsons; Brandon Kinder and fiancé Chasity Bedgood, Peter Kinder and fiancé Taylor Vanderwork, Jack, Simon, & Bennett Kinder, two sisters Mary Sue Vogt and husband Edd of Erie, PA, Charlotte Whitesell and husband Eric of Tazewell, VA, three brothers Rev. James A. Wright and wife Helen, of Belair, Md., John A. Wright and wife Helen of Erie, Pa. and Ronnie W. Wright of Tazewell, Va. One sister in law, Sandy Wright, of Stanley, Va.
Visitation will be Friday, August 7, 2015 at First Advent Christian Church from 9:30-10:30 am with the funeral service following at 11:00 am. The Rev. Jim Wright will be officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA 1:00 pm Saturday, August 8, 2015
