Florence Belcher Blauvelt,

Florence I. Belcher Blauvelt, age 95, of Hiddenite, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at the Brian Center in Statesville. She was born on January 23, 1919 in Rome, NY. Florence was retired from Parker Hanason Air Conditioning in Lyons, NY. She was of the Catholic faith and she loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping, and traveling. Florence is preceded in death by her parents. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Fredrick Harvey Blauvelt, of the home; sons: James Belcher of Raligh, NC and Richard Belcher of Florida; stepson: Harvey Blauvelt of Texas; stepdaughters: Elida Bnoy of Florida and Sherry Griffy of Tennessee; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.



Local arrangements are being handled by Alexander Funeral Service. The funeral services will be handled by Farnsworth-Keysor Funeral Home in North Rose, NY.
