Forrest "Ed" Yager,

Forrest Edward “Ed” Yager, age 84, of Taylorsville, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2014, in Catawba Hospice. Born on Jane 19, 1930 in Marion County. IN, to the late Forrest Joseph and Truvilla Emily David Yager, he was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Mr. Yager was a member of Mt. Pisgah Lutheran Church in Bethlehem. He loved music and singing and was with Barber Shop Quartets. He had served as a little league coach and was a mentor in grade school reading programs. He loved to play Santa Clause. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Doreen Jordon Yager.
Ed is survived by his wife of 13 years, Hilda Whitner McCloud Yager. He has two sons, Phillip Scott Yager and wife JoAna, of Oak Ridge, TN; and David Edward Yager and wife, Kelli, of Madeira Beach, FL; one daughter, Judith Anne Calliger and husband, Robert, of Indianapolis, IN.   He has seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
No formal services are planned at this time and inurnment will be with the family and interment will be held in Indianapolis at a later date.
