Fred Timothy Starnes "F.T"

Fred Timothy Starnes “F.T.”, age 58, of Bethlehem, passed away on August 21, 2016 at Frye Regional Hospital. Mr. Starnes was born on April 25, 1958 in Catawba County to the late Fred and Ruth Rae Yount Starnes who survives. He was a member of Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church. Mr. Starnes was worked as a truck driver for MDI in Hickory and for over 27 years at Pet Diary. He was a licensed pilot, avid Braves fan, a fan of drag racing, and loved his family & numerous friends.

In addition to his mother Mr. Starnes leaves to cherish his memory, two brothers, Kenny & Stewart Starnes; two sisters, Amy Warren & fiancé Jerry Pardue and Beth Hyatt & husband Robert all of Bethlehem, one niece, Jacqueline Moose & husband Phillip, three great nephews, Caleb, Lukas, & Bash Moose; a friend who was like a brother David Henderson, and a special aunt, Florence Teague.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 10:00-11:00 am at Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church with the memorial service following at 11:00 am. The Rev. Dale Bost and Rev. Steve Johnson will be officiating. The family requests that in lieu flowers memorials be made to Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church General Fund, 9042 NC Hwy 127, Hickory, NC 28601
