Fred White,

Fred William White, age 68, of Taylorsville, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, May 25, 2012 at Frye Regional Medical Center.  He was born on May 21, 1944 to the late Heindl and Mildred Davis White.  He was a truck driver for Clayton Marcus and Hickory Springs and attended Antioch Baptist Church.  He enjoyed gardening, racing, eating and talking with others.  He also would hand out smarties to all the children at church.  Including his parents, those that precede him in death include one brother, Wade "Tom" Franklin White.  Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of the home, Reta Caldwell White; three brothers, Lewis White and wife Sue of Taylorsville; Mark White and wife Barbara of Georgia and Michael White and wife Judy of Hickory.  Three sisters; JoAlyce Austin of Florida, Mildred Treadway and husband Nicki of Taylorsville and Patricia Tucker of South Carolina.  Visitation will be held Monday, May 28, 2012 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Antioch Baptist Church and Service will follow at 4:00 pm.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Rev.
