Gail Payne Prichard,

Gail Francis Payne Prichard, age 74, of Taylorsville, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2015, in Catawba Regional Hospice. She was born, March 28, 1941, to the late Charlie and Marie Sheline Prichard, in Oak Hill, WVA. Gail was employed by both Bassett Furniture and Southern Devices during her working career. She was of the Baptist faith. She will be remembered as a wonderful cook, and her love for animals, especially her companion, Pepper.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Hershal, and two sisters, Jerriann Cox and Peggy Jones.

Gail is survived by two brothers, Michael Payne and wife Kim of Taylorsville, and Charles Payne and wife, Janet, of Oak Hill WVA. She is a number of nieces and nephews. Gail had a special friend and neighbor, Linda Barnes.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, from 2:30-3:30 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Service in Taylorsville, with graveside funeral services at 4:00 p.m. in the Hiddenite Cemetery. The Rev.
