Gary Gene Bare

Gary Gene Bare, age 70, of Taylorsville passed away on Friday, June 16, 2017 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. He was born on May 24, 1947, the son of the late John Creston and Betha Mae Hurley Bare. Gary was retired from Craftmaster Furniture in Hiddenite and was of the Christian faith. He was a math and history buff who loved traveling to the mountains and was an avid walker. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister: Arlene Fox and brothers: Dean & J.C. Bare. Those left to cherish his memory include his brother: Kenny Bare and wife Vickie of Taylorsville; along with several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 19, 2017 at 4:00 pm at Mt. Herman Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Dagenhart officiating. Memorials may be sent to the Building Fund at Calvary Baptist Church at 550 5th Avenue SW; Taylorsville, NC 28681.
