Gardening, shopping, sewing, fishing, and traveling were some of her favorite hobbies, allowing her to express her creativity and adventure-seeking spirit.
As a member of the Hickory Seventh-day Adventist Church, Gwen's faith was an integral part of her life, guiding her through all circumstances and inspiring those who knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Dennis Foster, and her daughters: Madison Foster Blalock (Daniel), Laura Leigh Foster (Kody Simms), and Emma Lynn Foster (Roger Smith). Gwen also leaves behind her sister, Melissa Moretz (Kenny), and her brother, Doug Presnell (Sara Jonas), her Aunt Minnie, along with her mother-in-law, Nancy Patterson (Jon). She is remembered fondly by special friends Robbie and Renee Moore, and will be missed dearly by several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Gwen was preceded in death by her parents, James Alvin Presnell and Geneva May Ward Presnell, as well as her brothers, Michael and Ronald Presnell.
