Heather Michelle Munday Lapish

Heather Michelle Munday Lapish, age 36, unexpectedly passed away Monday, January 8, 2024, at her home. She was born to William Charles Munday Sr. and Michelle Bath Munday on Wednesday, January 6, 1988, in Catawba County.

Heather was a 2006 graduate of Alexander Central High School. She was currently pursuing a degree in IT. She had gone to school to be a CNA and dental assistant. Heather made many special friends at the places she had worked throughout the years, and she always knew how to make everyone laugh. Heather was a very special person who was loved by all.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Jaxon Charles Lapish; grandparents, Frank and Audrey Munday; uncles, Randy Munday, John Munday; aunts, Vicki Munday, Gail Strohbusch; and a special cousin, Justin Bath.

Along with her parents, those left to cherish the memories of Heather include her husband, Bobby (Lee) Lapish; two stepchildren, Elliot and Emory; mother-in-law, Connie Lapish; fur babies that she cherished; brother, Charlie Munday Jr. and wife Santana; sister, Teresa Munday Rosales; niece, Marisa Rosales; two nephews, Adrien Rosales and Jordan Rosales and wife Madysan; step-dad, Dwayne Salmons; step-brothers, Dustin and Andy Salmons; step-sister Amanda Trofatter and son Logan; grandmother, Shirley Willard; uncles, Scott Bath (Angela), Jeff Bath (Patty), Jim Bath, Michael Bath (Susan); aunt, Rebecca Lackey (Norman); cousins, Shawn Lackey, Lisa Munday, Tracie Bath, Aaron Bath, Travis Bath, Natasha Whalley, Angela Strohbusch, Leah Hinz, and Shawn Strohbusch.

A visitation will be held Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Alexander Funeral Service from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The funeral service will be held Saturday, January 13, 2024, in the Alexander Funeral Service Chapel at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at the Munday-Salmons-Lapish Family Cemetery at 1845 Paul Payne Store Road, Taylorsville, NC 28681. Dr. Sam Vallini will officiate.

The family will accept flowers.
