Helen Kennedy King,

Helen Kennedy King, 96 went home to be with her Lord Monday, August 31, 2015. She was born in Mecklenburg County on Sep 8, 1918 to the late Mr. and Mrs. William Kennedy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth King a sister, Willie Mae Yandle and half-brother Hollis Baker. She was a long time member of Enderly Park Baptist Church before it relocated to University Hills Baptist Church. She was later active at Bethel Baptist Church. She was a shining example of the virtuous woman described in Proverbs 31. Her life was dedicated to her family as she made many sacrifices for her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by three children: Kenneth King, Jr. and wife, Millie, of Taylorsville, NC, Cheryle Annas and husband Donald, of Mocksville, NC and David King and wife Cheryl, of Kannapolis, NC; seven grandchildren: Kristine Ford, Kenneth King III, Donald Annas, Jr, Aaron Daniel Annas, Jonathan Annas, Dana Huffman and Corey Chapman; Fifteen great grandchildren: Shelby Annas, Caroline Deal, Ella Deal, Haylee Annas, Blake Annas, Donnie Kai Annas, Cash Annas, Madison Walker, Scarlett King, Luke Huffman, Adam Huffman, Jacob Huffman, Jaden Chapman, Natalie Chapman and Evan Chapman.

A memorial service will be held at East Taylorsville Baptist Church in Taylorsville, NC on Sep 12, 2015 at 1:00 PM.
