Howard Lindsay Fox,

Howard Lindsay Fox, age 67, of Taylorsville passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born September 8, 1945 in Alexander County to the late Everette and Cecil Pennell Fox. Howard was retired from Carl Teague Sawmill and a member of Oakwood Baptist Church. He loved animals and working in the garden planting flowers at home. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother: Ralph Fox; grandfathers: Dempsey Pennell and Luther Fox and grandmothers: Ollie Oliver Pennell and Kate Reese Fox. Those left to cherish his memory include his brothers: Lee Fox, Wayne Fox and Thomas Fox of Bethlehem and Earnest Fox and wife Scharlotte of Ellendale; sister: Mary Lou Hollar of Bethelehem; sister-in-law: Linda Fox and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service to celebrate his life will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Mountain Ridge Baptist Church with the Rev. Mark Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will lie-in-state 30 minutes prior to Service. Serving as Pallbearers will be his nephews.
