Hubert Douglas Calloway

Hubert Douglas Calloway was born August 9, 1952 to the late Rosie Ola Howell Calloway and William McKinley. He worked at Broyhill Furniture for twenty-five years. He was a member of Thankful Baptist Church where he served as assistant superintendent until his health failed but was still a faithful member.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.

Hubert is survived by one daughter, Shanay Poole Parsons and husband Ashley, two sons, Brad Banner and wife Kristy and Chad Banner, two sisters, Pauline Cunningham, Maxine Carlton and husband Damon, ten grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation for the Calloway family will be held at Thankful Baptist Church in Boomer, NC on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 1:00 pm until 1:45 pm with the funeral service following at 2:00 pm.
