Jackie Lee Benfield

Jackie Lee Benfield, age 64, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Frye Regional Medical Center in Catawba County. He was born to the late Ray L. Benfield and Hester “Corlean” Mays Benfield on May 1, 1958, in Alexander County. Mr. Benfield was of the Christian faith. Jackie was a sports fan that enjoyed watching the Cowboys and Carolina Tar Heels. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR, especially Joey Logano. Jackie loved spending time laughing and talking with his family and friends.

Those left to cherish the memories of Jackie include his brother, Don Benfield (Retha), sister, Joann Benfield Fox (Jake), seven nieces and nephews, special friends, Penny and Larry Spencer, and special cousins, Lucy Kerley, and Scott and Tammy Kerley.

A visitation will be held Friday, December 30, 2022, at Alexander Funeral Service from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
