James “Michael” Harrold, age 68, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston Salem. Michael was born on August 9, 1954, to James Ralph Harrold and Eva Sue Brown Harrold in Wilkes County. He was a member of Clemmons Presbyterian Church and was involved in church activities. Michael enjoyed reading, watching NASCAR, and his two cats, Elgato and Squigget.
Those left to cherish the memories of Michael, include his wife of 22 years, Kathy Reagan Harrold, parents, James and Sue Brown Harrold, daughter, Michelle Stroebel (Robert), sisters, Kathy Hincher (Linney), Melissa Holbrook (Dan), brothers, Jeffrey Harrold (Tammy), David Harrold (Tressie), grandchildren, Corbyn and Cadie, sister-in-laws, Karen Clary (Jud), Kelly Reagan, brother-in-law, Jim Reagan (Cynthia), and a number of nieces, nephews, and special friends.
A memorial service will be held at Clemmons Presbyterian Church Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 2:00 pm. Address for the church is 3930 Clemmons Road, Clemmons, NC 27012. Dr. William Hoyle, Rev. Robert Maclin, Rev. Jodi Lingan, Rev. Leigh Wisner, and Rev. Joel Blevins will officiate. A graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Baptist Church Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 4:30 pm. Address for the church is 1998 Traphill Road, Hays, NC 28635.
