James Henry Frazier,

James Henry Frazier, age 72, of Hiddenite, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Catawba Regional Hospice. He was born on August 31, 1941 in Wilkes County to the late Henry Frazier and Leona Josephine Smith Frazier Allen. James was retired from Broyhill Furniture and was a member of Millersville Baptist Church. His cat Hope was his faithful companion, and he loved to tinker on watches, clocks, and engines. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Evalena Ramsey Frazier. Those left to cherish his memory include daughter: Sue Frazier of Taylorsville; granddaughters: Katy Frazier of Taylorsville, and Brittany Frazier of Hiddenite; brother: Bob Frazier of Wilkesboro; numberous neices and nephews; and special thanks to his neighbors, Anthony and Michelle McLain and sons, Michael and Aron.



Visitation will be Sunday, August 31, 2014 from 2:00 to 3:15 pm at Alexander Funeral Service. The Memorial Service will follow at 3:30 pm in the chapel with the Rev. Barry Harrell officiating. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Catawba County: 3975 Robinson Rd; Newton, NC 28658.
