James Roosevelt Lowe,

James "Jimmy" Roosevelt Lowe, age 56 of the Sugarloaf community passed away at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, Saturday evening December 27, 2014. He was born on Tuesday, September 16,1958 to the late James Columbus Lowe and Lola Wike Lowe who survives him. He was a member of Little River Baptist Church, he was employed at Hickory Springs Manufacturing and loved his Harley and was an avid gardener.
Those left to cherish his memory in addition to his Mother are one son, Derrick James Lowe. Two sisters Nanette Jolly and husband Charles, Julie Holdsclaw and husband Brad all of Taylorsville. Two nieces Casey Gilliland of Hickory, and Erin Holdsclaw of Taylorsville. Two step-nieces Misty Balk of Mooresville, Kristen Jolly of Taylorsville. One nephew Caleb Holdsclaw also of Taylorsville. He will also be missed by man's best friend Rocky.
Visitation will be Monday, December 29, 2014 from 6:00pm - 8:00 pm at Alexander Funeral Service. His funeral service will be held Tuesday December 30, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Alexander Funeral Service with Rev. Danny Loudermilk officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery at Little River Baptist Church.
