Jamie Carol Icard Jenkins

Jamie Carol Icard Jenkins, age 45, of Hickory, passed away Feb. 25, 2017, at the Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care. Jamie was born Sept. 14, 1971, to Carolyn Icard of Newton and Richard Icard of Hickory. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jason Icard, and grandparents Homer and Inez Hilton and Willard and Jennie Icard. Jamie obtained an associate's degree and was employed the last eight years at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Jamie was of the Methodist faith and family oriented, and loved her nephews and niece. Those left to cherish her memory, along with her parents: a son Bradley Jenkins of Hickory; sister Nicole Triplett and husband Jason of Granite Falls; sister Erin Little and husband Stephen of Taylorsville; nephews Justin Triplett, Reese Little, Reid Little, niece Lauren Triplett; and numerous family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Alexander Funeral Service, Sunday, Feb. 26, from 6-8:00 p.m. with a graveside service Monday, Feb. 27, at Mt. Pisgah Lutheran Church Cemetery (Bethlehem), at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jamie Jenkins Memorial Fund, c/o PO Box 40, Taylorsville, NC 28681.
