Janis Daniels Dyson, age 87 passed away at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville on January 4, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Jeffie Eli and Zella Munday Daniels. She was a member of Mt. Herman Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, those who preceded her in death were her husband, Flake Samuel Dyson, one daughter Brenda Gail Dyson, one son Kenny Lynn Dyson, and a brother William Curtis Daniels.
She leaves to cherish her memory one brother Ben Daniels, one sister Loretta McCabe, two sons Rick Dyson, Gary and wife Lou Ann Dyson, two daughters Judy Dyson, and Melony Dyson Brown and husband Rick, eight grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Alexander Funeral Service from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral services are Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Mt. Herman Baptist Church at 3:00 pm, burial will follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Paul Schronce officiating.
