Jeremy Kyle Law, age 17, of Taylorsville left this world unexpectedly on Monday, June 11, 2018. He was born on July 25, 2000, the son of Scott Harvey and Angelia “Angie” Darlene Daniels Law. Jeremy had just graduated with Honors from Alexander Central High School where he was a member of the ROTC for 3 years. He was employed with Giovanni’s and loved cars & working in the garage. Jeremy attended East Taylorsville Baptist Church and was very involved in the community. He was a volunteer with Saving Grace K-9’s, was a part of Alexander 4H Rifle & Shotgun Team for 3 years, Breast Cancer Awareness, Hands of a Sportsman, and a Life Scout almost ready to be an Eagle Scout. Jeremy was also an avid sportsman and enjoyed going hunting & fishing. There was very few that compared to Jeremy. He was a friend of a friend. Always having time for his friends and was so giving in helping others. We thank the Lord for the years we had with him and although he was taken too soon from us, God had another plan for him. He will forever be cherished in our hearts.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Leonard Daniels; paternal grandfather Robert Harvey Law; maternal great-grandmother Willie Bradford; maternal great-grandmother Ethel Watson; and maternal uncle Darren Daniels.
Along with his parents, those left to cherish his memory include his brother Matthew Law of the home; maternal grandmother Rosa Daniels of Taylorsville; paternal grandmother Phyllis Barkley of Glen Rose, TX; uncle Mark Daniels and special friend Teresa Taylor; aunts Terry Hatcher and husband Emory of Blue Ridge, TX and Pieper Barkley of Granbury, TX; along with a number of cousins and lifelong friend Jason Elder.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 18, 2018 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at East Taylorsville Baptist Church. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 2:00 pm at East Taylorsville Baptist Church with the Rev. Jamie Steele and Rev. Gary Jennings officiating. Burial will follow at Taylorsville City Cemetery. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Scout Troup 274 and ACHS ROTC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Saving Grace K-9’s at 314 E. Center St.; Lexington, NC 27292.
