Jimmy Dean Greene, age 58, of Taylorsville, passed away at Catawba Valley Medical Center on Saturday, August 1, 2015. Jimmy was born on Wednesday, May 1, 1957 to the late Alfred William Sr. and Annie Louise Walker Greene in Caldwell County. He was of the Baptist faith and loved all kinds of racing, especially Go Cart racing.
In addition to his parents Jimmy was preceded in death by two brothers Ray Greene and Alfred Greene Jr.
Jimmy leaves to cherish his memory his son James Greene and fiancé Renita Hoyle, of Taylorsville, daughter Angela Greene, of Hickory, sister Debra Greene Kerley and husband Monroe, of Lenoir, brother Russell Lee Greene and wife Sheila, of Bethlehem, two granddaughters Alexis Jo Neill and Kayleigh Marie Greene, and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and special friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Alexander Funeral Service from 6:30-7:00 pm. The memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm in the Alexander Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Gary W. Jennings officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Jimmy Greene Fund, PO Box 40, Taylorsville, NC 28681
