Jimmy Lee Presnell,

Jimmy Lee Presnell, age 61, of the Ellendale community passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, August 31.  He was born in Catawba County on August 14, 1950 to  James Paul and Bettie Sue Keller Presnell. Mr. Presnell was a truck driver for many years and had been employed by Zenith Freightliners.  He was of the Baptist faith.  Lee was also an avid NASCAR fan.  He is preceded in death by his father, James Paul Presnell; and a brother James Stephen Presnell.  Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Nancy Presnell; his mother, Bettie Sue Keller Presnell - both of Taylorsville.  One daughter, Lori Hall and husband Kevin of Raleigh; one step-son, Garrett Hefner; one granddaughter, Kayla Hefner; one niece, Stephanie Hefner and husband Eric; and great-nephew Zack Hefner – all of Taylorsville.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 3rd, 2011 at Alexander Funeral Service from 4 – 6:00 p.m.  Rev. Dennis Spivey will offer some words of reflection at 6 p.m. inside the Alexander Funeral Chapel.    Arrangements entrusted to Alexander Funeral & Cremation Service.
