John Roe Hart

April 6, 1956 — February 16, 2018

John Roe Hart, age 61, of Taylorsville went to his heavenly home on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Mission Hospital in Asheville. He was born on April 6, 1956 in West Virginia, the son of the late Truman & Lorraine Patchell Hart. John served the Lord as a minister, pastoring in Ohio, West Virginia, and Interim Pastor in NC. He also served as a missionary in Croatia. John had such care & love for people and leading them to come and know the Lord Jesus Christ. He was an amazing husband, father, brother, friend, and avid WVU fan, who will truly be missed but will forever be in our hearts.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 40 years Carolyn Ann Lincolnogger Hart of the home; daughter Gabrielle “Gabby” Boiter & husband Jeremy of Moore, SC; son Jonathan Hart & wife Kristin of Tucson, AZ; brother David Hart of Buffalo, WV; nephew Patrick Hart; and niece Ashley Hart.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Raynes Funeral Home in West Virginia and the funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Hollis Walter officiating. Burial will follow at Buffalo Memorial Park in West Virginia.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Gateway International Missions at 5937 Rink Dam Rd; Taylorsville NC 28681.
