John Lee Germond Sr., age 56, of Taylorsville, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2015. He was born to the late Gerald Gilbert and Dorothy Brizzee Germond in Broom county in New York on March 20, 1959. John was of the Baptist faith. He was employed by Cannon Mills in Kannapolis where he was a doffer until he retired.
John leaves to cherish his memory two children John Lee Jr. and wife Ashley of Mooresville, Jennifer Ann Levy and husband Paul of Mt. Holly, three grandchildren Constance, & Makayla Wyatt, Carmen Germond, brothers & sisters; Ellen Stone, Dennis Germond, Cara Greenleaf, Doretta Kumpan, Amy Miller, Michelle Swift, mother of his children Chrystal Germond and her mother Lucille M. Simpson, & a number of nieces, nephews, and special friends.
The family will hold a service to celebrate John's life at a later date.
