John Madison Munday,

John Madison Munday, age 49, of Taylorsville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 1, 2012. He was born on December 3, 1962 to Audrey Munday and the late William Frank Munday. He worked for Valdese Packaging and Label and was a member Pleasant Hill Baptist. He loved the mountains, fishing, and deer. Including his father, he is preceded in death by one brother, Randy Munday. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 25 years, Penny Harrington Munday; one daughter - Lisa Munday, all of the home; his mother - Audrey Munday, of Moravian Falls; two sisters - Rebecca and Norman Lackey and Vicki Munday; one brother - Charlie Munday, all of Taylorsville; and his father and mother-in-law - Harold and Bunnie Harrington. He is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews, and one special nephew - Shawn Lackey.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and Service will follow at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Bradley Johnson and Rev. Tony Daniels will be officiating. Pallbearers - Cuffy Icenhour, Benny Mitchell, Raymond Harrington, Allan Harrington, Charlie Munday, Jr. and Terry Kilby.
