Jordan Blake Looney

Jordan Blake Looney, age 24 passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday February 16, 2022. He was born on July 11, 1997, in Iredell County to Matthew and Tonya Looney. Jordan graduated Statesville High in 2015, loved basketball, football, gaming, Puerto Rico, was a big brother to many, had a contagious laugh, and gave the biggest hugs. He worked in the recycling field at Resources Material Handling.

Jordan is preceded in death by maternal grandparents Hobert and Dora Hatfield, maternal uncles Johnny Hatfield and Christopher Hatfield.

Those left to cherish the memories of Jordan include his Parents Matthew and Tonya Looney; Paternal Grandparents, Ronald and Janice Looney; Aunts: Rhonda Baker, Anita “Nini” Mayberry (Keith), Karen White (Mark), Sonya Harris (Kip); Uncle Randall Hatfield (Wanda); a number of cousins and special friends; and his beloved dog, Sadie.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022, from 5:00 pm - 6:45 pm at Alexander Funeral Services. Funeral Service for Mr. Looney will follow in the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Service at 7:00pm. Rev. Stephen Pope will be officiating. Inurnment will be with family.
