Joseph Allen "T-Bone" Winstead

Joseph Allen "T-Bone" Winstead, age 83, of Hiddenite passed away Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016 at Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation in Statesville. Born on Nov. 28, 1932 in Catawba County to the late Joseph Harrison Winstead and Sara Elizabeth Hahn, he was a security guard at Griffith Security and a veteran of the United States Army.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Russell Alexander Winstead. He is survived by his three children, Dana Weaver Hulon and Andrea Richelle Winstead, both of Newton and Kristain Deanna Winstead Nelson of Hiddenite. Two brothers survive, Robert "Bobby" Winstead Sr. and his wife Margie Winstead, as well as Randell Winstead, both of Newton. He is also survived by four grandsons, six great grand children and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Reverend Eddie Jolly will officiate.
