Joyce Ann Pierce

Joyce Ann Davidson Pierce of Taylorsville, age 85 passed away March 22, 2021 after a short illness at Valley Nursing Center. She was born to the late Clarence and Dora Lou Daniels Davidson on February 23, 1936 in Alexander County. During her working career she worked in furniture as a coverer at Craftmaster. Joyce was a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church, enjoyed her dogs and getting on her computer to keep in touch with people through emails.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by a son Randy Patterson and a grandson Joshua Patterson.
Those left to cherish her memories include a daughter Jacqueline Patterson, son Tim Patterson (Karen), a sister Audry Smithey, and two grandsons: Tyler Patterson and Brandon Eckard.
A visitation well be held Saturday March 27, 2021 at Alexander Funeral Service from 2 to 3 pm, with the funeral service to follow at 3 pm. Rev. Tony Daniels, Rev. Arlie Roten, and Rev. Steve Parks will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hebron Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to your church or charity of your choice.
