Juanita S. Schanzenbach, age 87; formerly of Snellville, GA, after a prolonged illness, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 11, 2013. Juanita was born and raised in Valley, Alabama October 31, 1925 to the late Hugh and Mattie (Benenhaley) Still. She graduated from Valley High School in 1943, and was employed at Atlanta Westinghouse and later by Woodrow Wilson College of Law. Juanita enjoyed traveling with her husband Paul, and often with other friends. She was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Fred Green, Sr., and then A. Paul Schanzenbach. Also two brothers: Hugh and Pete Still. Those left to cherish her memory are her sons: Fred Green and wife, Susan of Taylorsville and Kenneth Green and wife Judy of Columbus, OH. Two stepsons: Paul Schanzenbach of Anchorage, AK and Father John Henry of Cleveland, OH. One grandson, Joshua Green of Columbus, GA and a step-granddaughter, Kelly Schanzenbach of Colorado. One brother James Still and wife Virginia, from Snellville, GA and one sister-in-law Ilee Still of Conyers, GA.
Family will receive friends at Eternal Hills Funeral Home in Snellville, GA on Wednesday, January 16 at 1:00 pm. The Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 pm. with the Rev. Charles Robinson and Rev. Charles Barnes officiating.
