Judith Pearl Walker Stewart

Judy Walker Stewart passed away peacefully on Saturday January 25th, 2025, at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville NC, after a period of declining health. She was born in Iredell County, NC on April 24, 1947, to parents Jay Phillip Walker and Edith Redmond Walker. 

Judy spent her life working in the Statesville area, most recently at Statesville Auto Auction. When she retired, she moved back to the family farm in North Iredell to be near family and enjoy the country lifestyle again. She enjoyed supervising farm activities on her golf cart with dogs on board. 

Left to cherish her love and memories are her son Jay, his wife Sherry, and granddaughter Savannah. 

In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her brother Clay E. Walker. 

Funeral services will be conducted on the family farm in the Spring. 

The family would like to thank Gordon Hospice House for their generosity and compassion. As well as appreciation to Trinity Volunteer Fire Department for their attentiveness. A special thank you also to her friend and caregiver Gail Shumaker.
