Judy Johnson Moreno,

Judy Elaine Johnson Moreno, 70, of Hiddenite, passed away unexpectedly at Iredell Memorial Hospital on Monday, February 25, 2013. She was born on October 14, 1942 to the late James Wards and Mabel Johnson Aldridge. Judy was employed with the Alexander County Schools as a bus driver for over 25 years and was a member of Beulah Baptist Church in Statesville. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Charles Cook. Those left to cherish her memory includes her husband, Maximino Moreno; daughter, Elaine Cook; son, Paul Cook, Sr.; 9 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; brother, Jimmy L. Aldridge and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 from 6:00 pm -8:00 pm at Alexander Funeral Service and Service will begin at 8:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Wes Hammer will be officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Matt Greenlee, Dean Fox, Jesse Fox, Howard Williams, Roger Shapard and Gontran Ramggl. Burial will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Iredell Memorial Gardens.
