Judy Haas Wilcox,

Judy P. Haas Wilcox, 60, of Taylorsville passed away unexpectedly Monday, November 22, 2010. She was born in Caldwell County on July 13, 1950 to the late Stanley Carl Haas and Gertrude Pennell. Ms. Wilcox was very dedicated to her job as a Manager for Wal-Mart in Taylorsville, where she had been employed for approximately 10 years.  She also deeply adored her grandchildren, and will be greatly missed by all. Ms. Wilcox is survived by one son Scott Woodruff of Taylorsville; a brother, Ricky Carl Haas of Pinnacle: two grandchildren, Rebecca Eberstadt and Damioen Scott Woodruff: two great-grandchildren, Jaden Cross Williams and Makira Williams; one Aunt, Margie Sipe all of Taylorsville; one Uncle, Darrell Pennell of Mooreville; and two nieces, Alisha Hunt and Jessica Haas both of Hickory. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant sibling, Trudy. Visitation for Ms. Wilcox will be held at Alexander Funeral Service on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 from 6 – 8 pm.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Mt. Herman Baptist Church at 3:00 pm.  The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service.  The burial will follow in the church cemetery. Alexander Funeral Service has been entrusted with the arrangements for the Wilcox family.
