Kearney Hall Pennell,

Kearney Hall Pennell,age 79 passed away at his residence on Friday, June 21, 2013.  He was born to the late Harry Lee and Beautrice Edith (White) Pennell in August of 1933, a furniture upholsterer by trade, but spent most of his life as a farmer.  He was a member of Dover Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he preceded in death by one brother Marvin Pennell and one sister Pat Haas.  Those remaining to cherish his memories are his wife, Shirley Pennell of the home.  Two sons:  Tim Pennell and wife Peggy, and Scotty Pennell and wife Anna.  Four grandchildren:  Tara Geiger and husband, Robby; Brooke Trepal and husband, Shaun; Zachary Pennell and Nicholas Pennell.  Two great grandchildren:  Layla Geiger and Jacob Trepal (due in July).  Two sisters:  Ruth Etta White and husband Jimmie; and Geneva Deal and husband Harry.  One sister-in-law:  Gilda Pennell as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
The Pennell family will receive friends at Alexander Funeral Service on Sunday, June 23, 2013 from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm.  The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 24, 2013 at Dover Baptist Church at 3:30 pm with Rev. Phil Jolly officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
