Kenneth Paul Anderson

Kenneth Paul Anderson, age 70, born on Wednesday, November 18, 1953, in Caldwell County, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at Catawba Valley Medical Center in Catawba County. He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to his family, who will cherish the memories they shared together.

Kenneth was a dedicated family man who deeply loved his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his daughter, Adrienne Hampton, and his son, Stephen Anderson (Kelsey). Kenneth also took great joy in being a grandfather to Alexis Lingle, Calista Hampton, Lainey Anderson, Luke Anderson, Lorelei Durham, and Adelynn Davis. His family extended to a special friend, Linda Goodwin and with his sisters, Libby Houck (Curtis) and Mary Jo Hollar (Paul).

A proud member of Lebanon Baptist Church, Kenneth served faithfully as a deacon and Sunday school teacher, making significant contributions to his spiritual community. He embraced life fully, enjoying hobbies such as gardening, tractors, and farming, particularly involving cattle and livestock. 

Kenneth was preceded in death by his loving wife, Carolyn Austin Anderson, as well as his parents, Guy and Wilma Bradshaw Anderson, his brother, Gene Anderson, and his sister, Shirley Harget. 

A visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, from 1:30 pm to 2:45 pm at Lebanon Baptist Church. The funeral service will be Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Lebanon Baptist Church at 3:00 pm. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Eddie Jolly will officiate.
