Kenny Lee Pennell

Kenneth Lee Pennell, 69, of Sunset Beach, NC, peacefully passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025, at his home.

Kenny was born in Lenoir, NC on March 19, 1956, and was one of three children born to the late Bobby Lee and Wanda Myers Pennell.

He was an avid golfer and loved fishing. He was a gifted handyman and struck up many enduring friendships with employers and acquaintances alike.

Surviving are his son, Joshua Lee Pennell; a loving sister, Kathy Stewart and husband, Rick Saunders; a brother, Kevin Lyle Pennell and wife Mandy Pennell; grandchildren, Tyler, Jayden and Coy; along with several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM, on Monday, April 7, 2025, in the Dover Baptist Church Cemetery, 3525 Dover Church Road, Taylorsville, NC 28681.
