Kimberly Dawn Parsons, age 49, of Taylorsville, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011 in Baptist Hospital, Winston Salem. Born April 20, 1961 to William Francis Glaser and Judy Elaine Deal Glaser, she had been in declining health for a number of years. She was previously employed by Schneider Mills and J&K Enterprises. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jake and Ester Deal, as well as, Noah and Lacy Childers. Three cousins preceded Kimberly in death: Teresa De Maio, Matthew MCDermott and Jacob Deal. Her grand-father-in-law, Monroe Coleman Parson and father-in-law, Ronald Coleman Parson, also preceded her in death. In addition to her mother, Judy Elaine Deal Thomas, she is survived by her husband, Jeffrey "Jeff" Coleman Parsons of the home. One sister, Dee Glaser of Hiddenite and a special nephew, Dustin Lackey of Hiddenite. She has a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be conducted, Sat. Jan. 29, 2011, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church from 1:30-2:45 p.m. with memorial services at 3:00 p.m. at the Church. Rev. Tony Daniels and Rev. Bradley Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery following the service. Alexander Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the Parsons family.
