Larry Dale Sheets

Larry Dale Sheets, age 63, born on Tuesday, June 28, 1960, in Audrain County, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 17, 2024, at Frye Regional Medical Center in Catawba County. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend to all.

Larry will always be remembered for the love he had for his family. He cherished every moment spent with his wife of 24 years, Pamela "Denise” Sheets, his children April Smith (Robert), Logan Sheets, and Josh Sheets. His stepson Scotty Pennell was also a significant part of his life. He had love for his granddaughters Tatyana Sheets and Keyara Sheets and his great-granddaughter Kiara Sheets.

Larry's presence extended beyond his immediate family as he was a caring brother to Darlene Huffsteller and Rusty Sheets. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will miss him dearly. Throughout his life, Larry pursued various hobbies and interests that brought him joy. He found solace in fishing excursions, the company of a good book, watching TV shows, and playing with his beloved dog Demon.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Edward Sheets; mother and stepfather, Bonnie and Regis Feger; sister, Cathy Sheets; aunts, Annie Stewart, Mary Christian, Ava Morris; uncles, Jimmy Sheets and Danny Sheets.

The memories Larry leaves behind are those of a kind-hearted man who always put his family first. His legacy of love and devotion will be carried forward by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A memorial service to honor Larry's life will take place on Saturday, June 22, 2024, in the Alexander Funeral Service Chapel at 11:00 am. Pastor Andrew Brown will officiate. Inurnment will be with the family.

In this time of grief and loss, may we find comfort in the cherished moments shared with Larry and hold onto the love that he so generously gave to all who knew him.
