Lena Ann Lackey,

Lena Ann Lackey, 38 of Hiddenite passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 4, 2014. She was born February 2, 1976 to Henry Russell and Barbara Ann Spears Lackey of Hiddenite, NC.  She attended Pisgah Methodist Church and worked as a CNA in the health care profession most of her life.  Lena loved people, made friends everywhere, as well as enjoyed music and dancing.  She is preceded in death by paternal grandparents; Mr. and Mrs. Walter and Lena Lackey and maternal grandparents; William and Effie Spears Puckett.

She is survived by her parents; Henry Russell and Barbara Ann Spears Lackey of Hiddenite, a daughter; Alexis Deanna Lackey of the home, sisters; Judy and husband Mike Cossman of Mooresville, NC; Heather and husband David Torrence of Richmond, VA, nephew; Austin, nieces; Emily, Savannah, Stephanie, Kirsten, Grayson, Kaymeron, great niece; Brooklyn, as well as numerous cousins.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at 6p.m. at Alexander Funeral Service Chapel.
