Libby Frye Pittman,

Libby Frye Pittman, age 60, of Taylorsville, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Catawba Regional Hospice after an extended illness. Libby was born on July 1, 1955 to the late Earl L. and Irene Bowman Frye in Catawba County. She was a sales trainer for Combined Insurance based in Atlanta, GA. Prior to that she enjoyed many years in Myrtle Beach, SC. Libby's daily companions were her loving cats.

In addition to Libby's parents she was preceded in death by a brother Quez Maloy Frye Sr.

She is survived by two brothers; Gene Frye & wife Jane, Dr. Stan A. Frye & wife Joanne, sister in law Kaye Frye all of Taylorsville, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends. A special thanks to Libby's caregivers; Sharon Pennell, Renda Starnes, and Linda Goins.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, evening at Mt. Herman Baptist Church in Taylorsville from 5:00-6:45 pm Tuesday, December 1, 2015 with funeral service following at 7:00 pm. There will be a private burial at Smyrna Baptist Church. The family requests that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to Catawba Regional Hospice, 3975 Robinson Rd, Newton, NC 28658
