Linda I. Reitzel,

Linda I. Reitzel, age 72, of Taylorsville passed away Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born in Alexander County on June 27, 1941 to Lucille Hafer Icenhour and the late L. C. Icenhour. Linda worked in the furniture business as a sewer and was a member of Friendship Lutheran Church. She enjoyed going on bus tours, camping and spending time at the beach. In addition to her mother, those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 49 years: Allen Reitzel; daughters: Sharrie Summerlin and husband Mike, Sonya Martin and husband Chad, and Tonya Wagoner and husband Terry; sisters: Kay Smith, Marcella Icenhour and Betty Rector; grandchildren: Erica Wagoner Peterson, Tyler Summerlin, Randy Martin and Jordan Wagoner; great-grandchild: Lily Grace Peterson; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, December 23, 2013 from 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm at Friendship Lutheran Church and service to follow at 3:00 pm with the Rev. Phil Thorsen officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers will be Tyler Summerlin, Randy Martin, Jordan Wagoner, Brennan James, Justin James and Jonathan Smith.
