Linda Patterson,

Linda Diane (Dunn) Patterson, age 65 of Statesville, passed away Friday, March 1, 2013 at the Gordon Hospice House in Statesville following a lengthy illness. Linda was born in Gaston County April 15, 1947 to the late Curtis and Ruth Louise (McKee) Dunn.  Prior to retirement she had worked in food service of the education system, and after retiring she spent her time as a homemaker, where she enjoyed her grandchildren, and spending time watching and chatting with the Quilters of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Those left to carry on her memories are her husband of almost 47 years - T.J. Patterson; two sons:  Todd Patterson and wife Jan; and Jeff Patterson and wife Laura.  Six grandchildren - Tyler, Joseph, Jimmie, Bryson, Emily, and Hannah Patterson.  One brother - Dale Dunn and wife Debbie; as well as a number of nephews, nieces, and other family members.
Visitation for Mrs. Patterson will be held Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Fellowship Hall from  6:00 - 8:00 pm.  The Funeral Services will be on Monday, March 4 at 11:00 am with Rev. Mark Robinette and Rev. J.B. Parker officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Gordon Hospice House @ 2347 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC  28625.
