Linda Gail Starnes Scott

Linda Gail Scott, age 64, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at The Taylorsville House in Alexander County. She was born to the late Leroy Coolidge “LC” Starnes and Betty Pearl Payne Starnes on Wednesday, September 23, 1959, in Catawba County. Gail was of the Christian faith and enjoyed riding motorcycles and going to flea markets. 

Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Barney Scott, sisters, Mary Jo Grant (Steve) and Judy Teague. 

She is survived by six siblings, Larry Starnes (Ann), JR Starnes (Amy), Cecil Starnes (Cindy), Jerry Starnes, Doris Bolton (Darrell), Sue Starnes; brother-in-law, Marshall Teague, and a number of nieces and nephews.

 The services will be private.
