Linda Sue Roop,

Linda Sue Roop, age 57, of Taylorsville went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer. Born September 22, 1955 in Pennsylvania to Madeline Miller Roop and the late Warren Roop. Linda was of the Baptist Faith and had worked at Sherrill Furniture as a bandsaw operator. She attended Millersville Baptist Church and enjoyed camping, swimming, working in the flowers and riding "her" motorcycle. Including her father, she is preceded in death by her brother - Douglas Warren Roop and sister - Freda McAlpin. Along with her mother, those left to cherish her memory include her fiance of 21 years, Terry Fox of the home; son - Ricky Joe Bebber, Jr. and wife Michelle of Taylorsville; brothers - Paul Roop and wife Evelyn, Larry Roop and wife Ruthie and Ronnie Roop all of Taylorsville; sisters - Joyce Reavis and husband Jimmy of Harmony, Rita Eldreth and husband Bill of Taylorsville and Martha Pruitt and husband Allen of Wilkesboro; granddaughter - Ashley Bebber of Wilkesboro and four step grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 17, 2013 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Millersville Baptist Church. Service will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Millersville Baptist Church with the Rev. Eddie Jolly officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
