Linda Carol Denny Treadaway

Linda Carol Denny Treadaway, age 69, affectionately known as Carol, was born on Saturday, October 1, 1955, in Ashe County. She passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025, at the Gordon Hospice House in Iredell County, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion to her family.

She was of the Baptist faith and loved reading her Bible. Carol had an unwavering love for her family that was evident in all aspects of her life. She was committed to maintaining strong family ties and cherishing moments spent with her loved ones.

Carol found joy in crocheting, a hobby that allowed her to express her creativity and bring warmth to her family through handmade gifts. Her nurturing spirit and kindness touched many lives, and her family will forever remember the invaluable lessons she imparted and the love she shared.

Carol is survived by her two sons, Jeffrey Mack Treadaway and his wife Miranda, and Hobert "Bradley" Treadaway and his wife Heather. She was a proud grandmother to Jeffrey Jr., Kaylee, Timothy, Carlin, Mercedes, Brad, and Brandon, as well as a devoted step-grandmother to Drew, Tyler, Gage, and Dalton. Carol also shared her love and guidance with six cherished great-grandchildren, six brothers and sisters, and a number of nieces and nephews who will remember her fondly.

Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Mack "Bill" Treadaway, her infant son, Billy Mack, and her parents, Hobert and Ruth Royal Denny. In addition to these close family members, she is reunited in spirit with six brothers and sisters who have also passed on.

As we remember Carol, we celebrate a life defined by love, faith, and creativity. Her legacy will be carried on through the hearts of all who knew her and especially by her dedicated family.
