Lisa Brewer Kirby age 47 of Hickory passed away Friday April 3rd at Catawba Valley Medical Center after a long battle with Glioblastoma.
Lisa loved her family and friends and enjoyed any activities with them. She loved to read and cross stitch. Her favorite place was the beach. She also enjoyed being a sewer at Lee Industries. Lisa had a beautiful smile and was loved by many.
Lisa was preceded in death by grandparents Gerald and Joyce Aldridge, grandparents Jesse and Dolly Brewer, and uncle Harold Brewer.
Those left to cherish her memory are husband Linny Kirby and grandson Brayden Kirby of the home, son Logan Kirby and fiancé Nicole Dyson, son Caleb Kirby and wife JoLeigh, daughter Lauren Kirby Hall and husband Avery, father Jim Brewer and wife Theresa, Step-mother Shirley Plott, sisters Carol Carver, Janice Brewer, Darlene Kittrell, Marlene Waddell and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
The memorial service will be held Thursday April 9th at 4pm at Mt Bethel United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends following the service. Lisa would have liked everyone to wear bright colors to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Mt Bethel United Methodist Church, 9042 NC 127, Hickory, NC 28601.
