Lisa Michelle Starnes Riahi

Lisa Michelle Starnes Riahi, age 49, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023, in Alexander County. She was born to Leroy Starnes Jr. and Dini Williams Smith on Friday, August 17, 1973, in Catawba County. Mrs. Riahi worked as a cable and fiber inspector for Legrand. She was of the Baptist faith. During her free time, Lisa enjoyed going to concerts, traveling, shopping, and super cars. She loved animals and people.

Those left to cherish the memories of Lisa include her husband of four years, Malek Riahi; parents, Jr Starnes (Amy), Dini Smith (Bruce); sister, Amy Moore (Robert); stepsiblings, Bruce Smith Jr., Fran Moose, Anita Kent, Lisa Fortenberry, Robert Barger; special nephew, Michael Porter; and special aunt, Sue Starnes.

A visitation will be held Friday, July 21, 2023, at Alexander Funeral Service from 1:00 pm to 2:45 pm. The funeral service will be held Friday, July 21, 2023, in the Alexander Funeral Service Chapel at 3:00 pm. Burial will follow in the Dover Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Eddie Sapoch will officiate.
