Loretta B. Tanicello,

Loretta Barbara Tanicello, age 90 of Taylorsville, (formerly of Morrisville, PA) passed away in Valley Nursing Center on Saturday, July 27, 2013.  She was born in Ladysmith, Wisconsin on March 7, 1923 to the late Harvey and Barbara Dowd and later moved to Pennsylvania in the mid-40's where she had worked as a secretary and later a homemaker.  She also helped her husband with racehorses. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Vincent Tanicello, and a son Jeffrey E. Tanicello. Those remaining to cherish her memories are one son:  Anthony "Ron" Tanicello and wife Norma of Taylorsville; and one daughter: Marlene J. LaMont and husband Jon of PA.  Grandchildren include Pamela M. Standish and husband David of TN, and Allison Figerora and husband Mariano of NJ.  Great-grandchildren include Gabrielle and Luke Beierlein, and Kelly Standish all of TN.  Anthony LaMont, and Nicholas Sabo both of PA.
Visitation for the Tanicello family will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 from 6:30 - 7:30 pm at Alexander Funeral Service.  Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 11:00 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church - Taylorsville, NC  with Rev. James Byer officiating.  A Graveside Service will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery in Morrisville, PA Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 3:00 pm.
