Louise Davis Chapman

Louise Davis Chapman, age 85, of Taylorsville went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Brian Center in Viewmont. Came into this world on May 5, 1931 to the late Daniel Sherman and Effie Bumgarner Davis. Louise was a member at Little River Baptist Church and was a homemaker who loved cooking, sewing, and reading. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: DB Chapman; sisters: Maxine Chapman and Nelda Sigmon; and brother: Jerry H. Davis. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter: Diane Chapman Moretz and husband Larry; son: Danny Chapman and wife Kathy; brothers: Kenneth Davis and Jimmy F. Davis; granddaughter: Jamie Chapman McSwain and husband Todd; great-granddaughter: Davis McSwain; sister-in-law: Camilla Mitchell; along with a number of nieces, nephews, and special friends.

The family will have visitation on Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Little River Baptist Church and the funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm. The Rev. Jeff Chapman and Rev. Phil Chapman will be officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or you can make a donation to a charity of your choice.
