Louise Mitchell McLelland,

Louise Mitchell McLelland, age 90, of Taylorsville, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2016. She was born to the late Lee and Jettie Carrigan Mitchell on October 22, 1925 in Alexander County.
In addition to her parents Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Robert James McLelland and four brothers.
She leaves to cherish her memory her son Ronny McLelland & wife Mary, grandchildren: Lori Branch & husband Lee, Rodney McLelland & wife Renee, and Clara Barnes & husband Rodney; four great grandchildren: Jordan & Joshua Branch, Chloe Barnes, and Jase McLelland. She also leaves behind two special caregivers Jennifer & Joy, and number of nieces, nephews, & special friends.
Visitation will be Friday, July 22, 2016 at Alexander Funeral Service from 1:00-2:00 pm with the funeral following in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Jeremy Bumgarner, Rev. Earl Godfrey, & Rev. Rodney Blake will be officiating. Burial will take place in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
