Lucille Keever Jenkins Warren

Lucille Keever Jenkins Warren, age 87, of Taylorsville went to her heavenly home on January 31, 2018. She was born August 7, 1930 to Tommy Leeper and Edith Mae Icenhour Keever. She weighed in at only 2 lbs but she grew into a wonderful lady who loved her Lord and her family. She taught Sunday School for 60 years, became a member of Hiddenite Baptist Church in 1981 and attended there faithfully before having to reside at Valley Nursing Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Ernest Monroe Jenkins, her second husband William Bruce Warren, and step-daughter Jennifer Warren Stafford.

Those left to honor her memory are her four children that she introduced to Jesus when they were young and who will see her again in heaven. They are Joyce & husband Gary Prillaman, Sandra & husband Terry Gwaltney, Larry & wife Kathy Jenkins, and Brenda & husband Ronald Brookshire. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Included in those left behind are stepdaughter Teresa F. Womack and stepson Mike Warren, along with stepgrandchildren. Her sisters left are Willie Keever and Nancy and husband Henry (Bud) Shook.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Hiddenite Baptist Church and the funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with the Pastor Zach Deal officiating. Burial will follow at Liledoun Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to Hiddenite Baptist Church at PO Box 38, Hiddenite, NC 28636 or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
