Lura Mae Reynolds Cormier

Lura Mae Reynolds Cormier, age 55, of Fort Collins, Colo., formerly of the Baton Community, passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 5, 2016 in Fort Collins. Born April 28, 1961, to Max Edward Reynolds and Lura Hallie Sumpter Reynolds Blake, who survive, in Guilford Co., N.C., she was a graduate of South Caldwell High School and Western Carolina University. She was preceded in death by her husband, Val Cormier and stepfather, Harvey Blake, Sr.

Memorial services will be conducted Friday, Nov. 25, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Alexander Funeral Service in Taylorsville. Rev. Neal Walker will officiate. Interment will follow at a later date in the family cemetery in Ashe County.
